God blessed our worship service today with the addition of four new members and six baptisms. Welcome to our church family: Ben, Hannah, Jesse, and Nadja. We rejoice with Kimberly, Autumn, Noah, Preston, James, and Lucas as they are baptized into the body of Christ. Praise the Lord!
The First Congregational Church of Swanzey holds a significant place in the rich history of our beloved town. On Saturday, July 19, we were blessed to celebrate that heritage at Old Home Day and enjoy our terrific community with sunshine and blue skies! Thanks to Jennifer, Cyndi, Sue, Lou, Pat, Denise, Jane, Nora, David and Barbara V., Shirley, Kristen, Becky, Pastor Christopher, David S., Lynda and Francis, and everyone else who helped plan, inflate beach balls, set-up, take-down, etc.! The float looked terrific and really captured the theme of our place in Swanzey’s history. Our booth attracted many visitors who were interested in hearing about our church and appreciated the information and fun “swag” we gave away. God has blessed us, faithfully and abundantly, in Our Little Place of Quiet Grace.
