It has become apparent in the recent days that someone is attempting to prey on members of the First Congregational Church of Swanzey by masquerading as our former pastor, Rev. Damon Anderson. This seems to have happened a number of times with multiple individuals.

Damon continues to adhere to his promise of not being in contact with members of the congregation so that the separation can facilitate healing and something new to emerge. He wishes to continue honoring this, however, the commitment is becoming more complicated - especially as an active, and likely malicious party, appears to be using this to their advantage.

We must remind the members of the First Congregational Church of Swanzey that he will not be in touch until an appropriate time has passed, and any present contact received using his name should be considered suspect or fraud.
