First Congregational Church of Swanzey

Sunday Worship and Faith Formation Classes 10:00 AM

As an additional security precaution, we will be holding our live worship services via Zoom instead of Facebook Live from this point forward. This brings some positive opportunities, but likely some challenges. Please know that we are here for you to help you through the technological hurdles that may arise. Please email with your first and last name for information regarding the Zoom livestream login code and password, should you wish to join remotely.

Please Note: this link will not be active until 10 AM on Sunday Morning. To watch all previous services, click here.

Sandy Allen has set up a "Kids Church at Home" program. You can find this by clicking here.

"No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are always welcome here."

Our Mission Statement

Following Jesus' teachings, we strive to love and respect one another. We join together, combining our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service, to extend ministries of acceptance, openness and cooperation to ourselves and others that reflect our convictions in Christ. We are partnered with a sister UCC church in Lueveve, Zimbabwe, Africa through the UKAMA project of the New Hampshire Conference of the UCC.

Join us for Worship at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. There is plenty of parking on the church grounds with handicapped spaces available in front of the brick building and the White Building.

Swanzey Congregational To Study Romans

The First Congregational Church's Thursday morning Bible Study will begin a new topic with the study of Romans on April 22, in Friendship Hall of the church, at 10:30am. The Rev. Joseph David Stinson will teach the weekly class. No previous experience with Bible study is required to participate.

Romans is perhaps the most famous New Testament letter by St. Paul. He wrote it in the middle of the 6th decade of the Christian Era. The letter contains the mature theology of the Apostle and has spawned numerous doctrines, disputes, reformations and conversions. Today it is at the center of conversation between Jews and Christians. Mr. Stinson said he hopes to finish the study by the end of June.

Due to the Covid 19, we are not holding live Faith Formation classes for children. See the link above for educational packets.
